"Unfortunately for plaintiff, he opened that door himself by filing this lawsuit," Leisure said.

*Snicker*

Just imagine believing you can file a slander lawsuit, accusing somebody of defamation of YOUR character and demanding that you not be questioned on your character!

What DO they put in the water out in Modesto?

Leisure said Condit couldn't have it both ways — sue Dunne and then prevent the defendants from cross-examining thoroughly for facts.

That's probably exactly why Bill Clinton never sued any of the women for their claims he raped them.

Oboy! Dunne should have a field day!

Condit was always an idiot -- this is just the latest chapter.

BTW -- FReepers in his district -- got any plans?

Guess Dunne, being no dummy and probably pretty ticked besides, wasn't willing to settle to get Condidit off his back. Poor Condidit. Bet that suit gets dropped quicker than a hot rock now.

Condit was said to be a big fan of leather bars.
