I sure am glad we've started taking border security seriously.

We are totally screwed. A CIA that sucks big ones and a major Homeland Insecurity Dept with an open border policy for terrorists. Expect a major attack. We are much too politically correct to avoid it.

Officials have declined to say why she sneaked into the country and whether she had any ties to terrorist organizations.
$7300 cash is enough to buy beach-front property in Mexico... I doubt she was coming here to pick fruit...

And there are leftists putting water out in the desert to help them safely cross. Those people should be deported as well.

"A South African woman whose arrest heightened fears that terrorists were slipping across the U.S.-Mexico border has been sentenced to time served and will be deported."
This is discrimination. The government doesn't make other nationalities serve jail time the first time they're caught. We wouldn't have the Mexican invasion if they were treated this way.

Officials have declined to say why she sneaked into the country and whether she had any ties to terrorist organizations.Nancy Herrera, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney's office, said she could not comment. A spokesman for the FBI office in San Antonio did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
The "business as usual" approach is going to get some people murdered at some point. It's understandable that not every terrorism-linked occurrence be publicized, but the Bush Administration is too patronizing too frequently.
