Heavy Metal is a genre that hasn't been in the mainstream in the last decade, but still has hardcore fans. I give this band credit for following their dreams and making the music that they and their fans love.

I haven't followed Heavy Metal since Headbanger's Ball disappeared from MTV. I was a big fan of Queensryche.

I saw Pantera play at local Dallas clubs back in the 80's, at the time they were kind of a "glam" band, as were most bands back then. They couldnt haveen much more than 18 or 19 at the time.

Ah yes, The Headbanger's Ball, lol those were the days. I remember when GNR first hit the scene they were on the show, and trashed the set.

LOL... I saw a new Queensryche DVD a few months ago. I'm pleased to inform you that Geoff Tate sounds exactly the same- his voice is still amazing- but now he's as bald as an egg.

Are we officially "old" yet? :D

I like Queensryche, musically they are genius. I am even going to see them in Cleveland on 1/30/05. They're a bunch of lefties though.
