We're preparing for another fun Freeper Ball on Inauguration night 2005, with Governor Huckabee and Capitol Offense doing a repeat performance.
For more information on tickets, dinner, accomodations and more, the Free Republic W2 Inaugural Ball (2005) announcement thread is here.
Ping!
Ping!
Jim Robinson doesn't look anything like I thought he would from his screen name. : )
Of course, Rush didn't look anything like I thought he would either.
Looks like lots of fun.
How about a Midwest meeting?
Thanks for the pics-----good looking people having a good time.
Thanks for the post of the photos. We had a great time at the ball in 2001.
Lots of good memories in all of those pictures.
It's sad that LBGA won't be there anymore.
She used to be the keeper of the photos, didn't she?
Wonder how her children are doing now...
Where's the grey hat! ;-)
I lost weight and glasses.
Woo hoo! Great pictures from a GRReat Ball!! Sweet memories to treasure for a life time!!

Where's Cool Guy?
Well, I have 2 threads from 2001 that had all the pictures and stories compiled together, but unfortunately, it seems like most of the pictures are gone. Anyway, here they are with some good stories:

Gah now I need to dig around and find the kid pics from the Ball :) There were a number of young FReepers there too :)
I might still be able to go. I'm just waiting on others to get their schedules straight for a very important event, so I can figure out if I can go. These photos make me want to go.. even more!
Is it my imagination or are all FR women beautiful?

Bo and go (go's eyes always look like that after copious amounts of Guinness Extra Stout, to date there is no cure, although the experimentatiom continues)
