Well, you wouldn't have to throw it out, but you would have to have another amendment to modify it, similar to the bolded below:

Agreed. This is why I think we should concentrate on the demand for illegal labor, the borders, the ports, and the process for dealing with aliens we catch. Although I would be willing to amend the 14th amendment to preclude births to illegal aliens, I think it's less important to do that than to stop the demand and the source.
Right now, there's very little stopping companies from demanding lowball, illegal labor. Also, our borders and ports are relatively insecure. Developing and applying the technology to seal them would be possible, but we lack the will. Finally, when we catch illegal aliens we should send them back (humanely) to their country of origin.
By the way, I think it's almost too late for white men to make any comments on this issue that people will hear. It's up to women and non-Anglos like Michelle Malkin to remind the whole country that culture has nothing to do with race, but it's essential to our future.
