I gotta admit, I'm stunned that anybody's even talking about the radio station surviving past next Thursday. I figured it was the Disposable Bic Lighter of the 2004 elections, meant to set as many brushfires as possible and then get chucked in the can. If they're actually going to try to make a -profit- on it, long term, all I can say is... bwahahahahaha!

There was a reason that Franken got a 1 year contract in the first place. Franken's show is the only one that gets measurable ratings anyway. I can't see the current business model lasting past the new year (is WLIB going to continue to carry them?), but maybe they get money from the satellite radio companies.
