if you look close towards the ground, you will notice John Kerry crawling around on his stomach with his double barrel shotgun, "playing the wind" if you will waiting for a deer to walk by...

Thanks for sharing the pics . Unfortunately , we have a mountain full of cedar trees in back of our house in Japan and therefore are unable to view sunsets unless we take a short drive . I really miss the Long Island sunsets which I used to photograph from time to time .

I Love it. Having lived in Hawaii before moving to KY, I have to say the KY sunset and blue moon are much more breathtaking. I see more shooting (falling) stars here as well. The night sky is just gorgeous.
Thanks for sharing your pics.

Sailer's delight...indeed!
We have a clear sky tonight...a bit cool with temperatures falling into the 30s! Fair though!

a mountain full of cedars behind your house does not sound unfortunate--I'm jealous

Red sky at night = dry air coming in from the west. Should last at least through tomorrow morning.
Opposite phrase: Red Sky in the morning, sailor take warning. It means all the dry air has moved east and changing weather from the west is on its way
