Actually, I heard Laura say the puppy wasn't coming until after Christmas.
Oh really? Wonder why, maybe it was felt that because pet adoptions aren't really recommended during the holidays, the WH wouldn't be setting a good example? Which also seems a bit silly. Oh well after Christmas is fine too.
