I believe that some places are tainted spiritually by the immensity of evil that happened there. Srebrenica is one of them... so's Auschwitz, so's Wounded Knee.

That's why I hate ghosts. There is never any consistency to them. If ghosts were always common in places where large numbers of people met gruesome, untimely death you would be hard pressed to get a wink of sleep just about anywhere in Europe. How many of these death camps and battle fields are routinely haunted? How many never have any reports of ghosts?

The Heanor Spiritualist Group, who have investigated the building, have recently honoured The Falstaffs Experience with an award for being one of the most haunted buildings in the country. The group were also able to capture on camera a vision of pure energy, seen as a vivid orange zig zag across a photograph.

Steve Devey stated “We are astounded, but not surprised at the level of unexplained paranormal activity this Halloween. The Midnight Vigils and Ghost Hunts we are currently running are a direct result of the massive interest we have had from the general public. So many ordinary people are interested in the paranormal and are intrigued to ‘find out for themselves’ “.

For those that wish to experience the paranormal, Midnight Vigils are organised on Saturday evenings’ for those that want to stay until the early hours with the guidance of an experienced medium. Tickets, which cost £45, can be purchased from The Falstaff’s Experience by telephoning 0870 350 2770 or for more information visit the website at www.falstaffsexperience.co.uk. You can also take a lantern lit tour of The Falstaffs Experience on Thursday nights, half hourly from 7pm until 10pm and cost £6. Alternatively, if visiting the museum at night proves too terrifying, then a book of the Falstaffs ghosts can be purchased for £3.50. The Falstaffs Experience can be found at The Shrieves House Barn, Sheep Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, CV37 6EE.

Forgive my dirty old unromantic skepticism, but ghosts seem to be big business at this place and anybody who takes their tours and vigils can hardly be considered an objective observer... I get the feeling if I went there I wouldn't see or hear Jack S.

There may be mice in the walls if you know what I mean.

I'm a skeptic too. I've been to lots of places that I thought *should* have been haunted, but weren't.. lol..

I think you must be a believer to see Jack S.

I think that if you went there, you would see and feel plenty. At 45 Lbs at ticket, the owners of the place have quite an incentive to put on a good show.
