I think with all the recycling going on, there is mostly organic material in residential solid waste. Think of all the non recycled plastic in the trash bags alone. In our home, its all dirty / wet paper, bones, fat and veg matter.

Liverwurst on the other hand....mmmmmmm.

A thick slice of Braunschweiger on dark rye with a thin slice of Vidalia onion and just a thin swipe of brown mustard. Oh yeah.

I just wish they were taking investments. I'd like to be able to retire in five years...

Four years ago my sister came to me for advice. She met an officer of a small company that was hiring like mad and had great prospects. She asked me to check up on it before she invested.

I did a quick check and found that it was trading for about a dollar but was pink-sheeted. Told her that it would take an unreasonable amount of time to verify the possibilities of the company.

Bottom line, she is greatful that she didn't invest (last quote $0.01) but still mad at me for ruining her dreams of a quick fortune.

I can believe the $15/bl figure. Think about it, they get paid by the turkey producers when the turkey offal comes in, and get paid again when the oil is produced. It sounds like a big profit producer, to me.

What I didn't understand is if they are making oil to lubricate the engines or oil (read diesel) to burn.

The Carthage plant is producing deisel fuel for power plant use, according to what I've read (I think it is even addressed in this interview).

#17 was oblique enough that I couldn't tell what the poster was trying to say. #35 was pretty clear, though.

Actually, he originally intended it to run on coal dust, but the injectors kept clogging. When he put the engine on display, he had it running on peanut oil.

They should be selling it to the Chinese and we can start to balance that trade deficit that WalMart has been so good at fostering.

Nah, let's keep the oil and let China spend its hard currency being yanked around by the Islamofascists.

According to other articles, human and animal sewage are one of their projected feedstocks. The efficency would be less because of the relative lack of lipids in sewage, but the avoided costs and environmental benefits are even more attractive.

basicaly said oil will run out in 10 years, talked about the "dangers" of oil dependance, the need to break the oil habit, the damage to the enviroment we do drilling for it, basicaly attacked the use of coal, oil, and nuclear power. brought up the use of fossil fuels damageing the ozone layer. attacked america for being the number one user of it. went on like this for a long time, then she goes on saying the movie didnt factor in over population and well will run out of oil faster, the world is over populated. went on like this for an hour and a half

If I'm going to be the stuckee to maintain the ping list, then I best start taking additional applications.

Anyone else want in on a ping list for "quality of life technologies" (QOLT-ping)? [Probably very low volume...]
