"The mess isn't surrounding their homes, and they're not struggling to pay their bills like most Americans are."
You're wrong about us Republicans in California. The illegals ARE surrounding our homes and we ARE struggling to pay our bills. We hate the mess but our politicians are deaf to this issue. Our best advocates are Ken and John on KFI radio, and it's a shame they're more ethical on this issue than our elected officials. If Hillary picks up on this for '08 she might have a chance against a Republican.
And all the neo-republicans and Rhinos could do is bad mouth and mock them when KFI was going after the fraud, David Dreier.
These "party before country" hacks are the problem, and will do anything to hold onto power while counting their profits on the backs of the tax payers.
YOu are so right. I took this very issue up with Monica Crowley on WABC NY last week. Hillary is already making noises about being against Illegal Immigration and against Bush's Amensty plans.
Unfortunately, I cannot remember where I read about it. If it comes to me, I'll post it.
This is the open door for the Dems into the 2008 Whitehouse. And they will promise us anything to get back into power. And this is the issue which cuts across party lines and unites the country. If the Reps don't do it, the Demns will be more than happy,
We need Tom McClintock. John and Ken have certainly made Drier and others look at the issue. GOP had better get their ducks in order by 2008... Hillary will use illegal immigration as platform and there goes the party. Arnold is certainly better than Davis.... but starting to bend to liberals, hispanics. All talk no action
I was referring to the politicians in their ivory towers, the ones who refuse to listen to us and are selling us out. I'm one of those (ex) Republicans who are absolutely fed up with the mess that California is experiencing.
Can't stand Hillary, but I agree with what she said about being against illegal immigration, though she probably didn't mean it.
