Porn reaches people as well.
Let's have porn in churches! Hell, let's film porn videos.
Your opinion is characteristic of the ignorant, lazy modern American church.
You think that anything we do short of outright sin is acceptable to get people to come to Christ.
All the while you fail to understand that being lukewarm, that failing to give simple, unashamed declarations of the Gospel, is just as much a sin as if we did film porn in church to try to bring in the lost!
WHEN WE FAIL TO DO WHAT GOD COMMANDS, IT IS JUST AS BAD AS IF WE OVERTLY DO SOMETHING FORBIDDEN!
When we sit back and think that WE CAN ACCOMMODATE THE GOSPEL TO THE CULTURE INSTEAD OF STANDING APART FROM IT AS SALT AND LIGHT, WE ARE SINNING!
Your attitude is sinful....I pray you will understand that.
Unbelievable.
First of all, my friend, you don't know me at all. You don't know what I THINK and I certainly don't THINK the above. I won't presume to know what you think. I find it unfortunate when a difference in doctrine or worship styles results in judgements, name-calling and assumptions.
All the while you fail to understand that being lukewarm, that failing to give simple, unashamed declarations of the Gospel, is just as much a sin as if we did film porn in church to try to bring in the lost!
That is a ridiculous statement. I am neither lukewarm nor fail to understand the importance of "unashamed declarations of the Gospel". What I find more troubling than the disaggreement in music is the mean-spirited jabs and name-calling that accompany some of those that would disagree. Is this not sinful? Please have a thoughtful look inside at how you communicate with people that you disagree with. I fail to see Christ in THAT.
