To them, Bush = Nixon, and Iraq = Viet Nam. They're all getting old - this could be their last chance to finish what they started 30 years ago Agreed .. but this isn't the 60's & 70's any longer and they don't have the MSM to cover for them like back then
There is a new media out there and these jerks won't get away with that they did back then

"I couldn't believe this one idiot in the suit. He joined in 2003 and complained because he was activated and couldn't just do a weekend per month. Guess he figured he could just get the free schooling then go home with no commitment." There is an older pencil-neck geek that I work with whose son joined the Army Reserve for the GI bill so he could pay for college. This guy knows his stuff in his field and he is respected in our office for his intellect. One day at lunch (before the election..he's a big Lurch supporter) he starts in on how his son joined to get college paid for, not to go to war.
Well, you know yours truly (Proud US Army vet) wasn't going to leave THAT comment just hanging out there unchallenged. I laid out my argument pretty vociferously and at the end he said "Yes, you are technically correct, but,.." and he never got any further that that 'but' before I told him that "Yes, I AM correct, and there IS no but"
This was on the day of the first debate and from that day on we haven't heard him utter one word about his son, the US Army, the debates, the election, Kerry, nothing... I know I'll never be on his Christmas card list, but I have been in position to need his work expertise since then. At least he knows enough not to withhold that expertise, because then he wouldn't be doing his job.

However, as with all retro movements this one will be exposed for its 'vintage' roots, seen as 'quaint' by modern Americans, and will be unproductive.
This is another episode in the sad theater of American socialism.

Freepers do more research than Old Media... That bear repeating. Great work, Enlightiator. You've earned the noble title of pajamahadin.

I was curious about this lawsuit from the first day I heard about it.
Is it related-in any way-to the one being filed on behalf of another officer, who is being represented by Barry Slotnick?
Or is that something altogether separate and distinct?

Shouldn't Lynd and these others be arrested for sedition?

Great information. I think that it's time for someone to start a collection of anti-American trial lawyer cases that highlight the symbiotic relationship between the Democrat party and the trial lawyers. I guess we could call it the Reasons for Tort Reform list.

I have not found a link to Lynd and his organization to the attorney Barry Slotnick, who is represented Captain Jay Ferriola. I did find it interesting that Monica Davey of the New Your Times also covered these cases of soldiers retaining attorneys to fight enlistment extensions (see my link in my original post to her story on the current lawsuit by Lynd and co.):

Thanks for the link!
I appreciate it.

Congress should have declared war,
That way the deserters and their attorneys can be prosecuted for treason.
