He's had a pro-Mexican-immigrant policy from the start. How has he stabbed you in the back. He never promised to close the borders or any such thing. On the contrary, he proposed an immigration policy aimed at reducing illegal immigration by promoting the legal with a time limit.
It's not as if he's surprised any of you. If you feel that way, you weren't paying attention or misunderestimated the man.

Nobody "misunderestimated" Bush. We, the American People, have made it clear that we want the borders under control and no reward for illegals. Bush, as the public servant, is supposed to respect those wishes. Unless of course you believe you serve him?
