For a disabled vet, I have no problem with getting the guy a nice place and a comfortable life.
Im my roommates case, one girl in particular comes to mind. I went over there, (yes, free food tempted even me...hehe)
She had a very nice apartment in the part of town real people live in...hehe.
Big screen, Computer w/broadband, stereo, brown leather couch sysyem, you name it, she had it. Drove a nice, newer Cavalier I think.
Anyhow, she had two kids by two dads, got two checks every month. Then since she was unemployed single mom with kids, she got a basket of assistance. Food Card (like ATM), insurance, and a little extra money.
Later found out her apartment was only costing her 40.00/month, it was subsidized.
To really put the icing on the cake, due to her "circumstances", she had a tuition waiver through the state and could take classes for free at any state school if she wanted.
She enrolled in the occasional nursing class, but I think she was on a 7 year program for a 4 year degree.
But she did have all real ice cream and real pop, not Sam's Choice!
