There is something about the Pacific that is so compelling
I so agree. I live less than 3 miles from the harbor
downtown San Diego. In front of my apt bldg looking
south I can see part of the bay near the shipyard.
Tomorrow President Bush will be in San Diego. He will
land at Marine air base Marimar and then chopper up to
Camp Pendleton.
We have over 19,000 marines in Iraq. Today several
ships with 6,000 marines and choppers left the harbor.
Cool. I didn't know. Thanks for the heads up. Of course, the local media here in L.A. won't cover much of it, if any. But now that I'm aware of his visit, I can at least try to find some coverage.
