He is famous for his ever-so-slightly risqué black and white nudes and fashion photography. Now John Swannell has turned his lens on Tony and Cherie Blair - for their entirely non-controversial Christmas card. The world-renowned snapper, favoured by many celebrities, has the couple posing in relaxed, smart-but-casual mode under one of Chequers' Gothic-style arches. Last year the Blairs had two cards - one official and one for family and close friends - but that has been dropped in favour of one simple card featuring just the two of them. But this year's is notable for the fact it carries no greeting whatsoever. Like one of those all-purpose ones you buy in the High Street, it is fit for any occasion. Just add your own message.
He does look sorta somewhere between Bush and the Lucky Charms elf.
What's she wearing? Looks like a hospital gown and he's there on visiting day....
I have a non-religious one from my family for business as well, simply because I get a lot of generic holiday cards from Jewish and Hindu clients and if I don't reciprocate it would be rude, but if I sent them a card for a holiday they don't celebrate it would be perceived by them as displaying ignorance of who they are - neither is good for business.
What's Christams? Is that Jebus' Birthday?

Guns Before Butter.
Happy Ramachanuhkwanzmas from the Blairs.
What an ugly card. A wreath would have been nice. But, maybe they don't use them in the UK.
George & Laura's is much more festive!
The "Christmas" card I received from President and Mrs. Bush was almost as PC.
A passage from Psalms,(and the NIV at that), and a message akin to "Season's Greetings".
LOL :o)
Goofy.
Yes, their's is of the "Red" Room.
Doesn't "snapper" have a different connotation in England?
I have never once seen a pitcture of the two of them that she was not hanging on him. Poor guy.
He looks young! Looks like he could be her son.
A passage from Psalms is not PC in any translation.
What's up with the "Elvis" collar???
Mine from President and Laura Bush, had a hand written note thanking me for all the funny Kerry poems and song parodies I wrote on FR. With a PS that I didn't need to send more money.
I got the card but no note : (
I recently got mine from George and Laura and it was a very lovely and classy Holiday Card.
Yep. It's the day before Wankzaa.
