No.... it isn't true for men who are looking for companionship and happen upon a foreign wife, due to his location or hers (living overseas). Certainly there were many of our soldiers who have found women during deployment and students who find each other studying abroad.
But I would be prepared to say it for anyone who actually decides to limit his search to foreign women as a criteria. Yes, I'd say that generalization holds. He wants to form her in his own image of a wife, and he thinks she's a blank slate who will appreciate anything above what she'd get at home.
What, you mean like this site? C'mon, I'm sure the guys who go here for women are just hardworking, fabulous men who despite all their charms and success can't attract an American woman because she's nothing but an ungrateful bitch.
