The Congress can only regulate the appellate jurisdiction of the Court. At least those are the plain words of the Constitution. It says nothing about regulating the original jurisdiction of other, inferior courts.

The wording is clear - Congress has authority to regulate the appellate jurisdiction of the Supreme Court.

In all the other cases before mentioned, the Supreme Court shall have appellate jurisdiction, both as to law and fact, with such exceptions, and under such regulations as the Congress shall make.

Congress has no similar grant of authority to regulate the original jurisdiction of whatever inferior courts have been established.

I haven't the time to read all that (I further consider it an abuse for you to have inserted it into the thread if you could have linked it with relevant excerpts). I assume you are responding (indirectly) to one of my posts so tell me where specifically is the grant of authority for the Congress to limit the jurisdiction of the inferior federal courts?

You need to take time to learn.

The article and my post #1 contained the information that you needed to read prior to posting.

Since you are confused, I posted material from one of those links for your convenience and comments.

You have gross conceptual errors about Article 3.

I suggest you read the appropriate sections, and read the article I posted for you.

My friend, the usual mode around here is conversational. If you have a point, make it in a couple of paragraphs. I'm not about to wade through five thousand word essays to find the two pertinent paragraphs.

Let me say further that there's nothing wrong with my comprehension of Article III. It is short and to the point and in it there is no grant of authority to limit jurisdiction of whatever inferior federal courts have been established.
