Disability is set as a percentage of disability, not an arbitrary amount according to your color, race, or creed - if you lose one eye, your are NOT 100% disabled so you cannot expected full pay for life.

In theory yes, but if you have clout with one of the veterans organizations the numbers go up. Big time. I have met too many of these clowns , and they brag about it!
Also I have met a few bogus (IMO) PTS guys that never left CONUS.
That said most of the guys I met inside (Hines,North Chicago and Lakeside)were the real deal or had no insurance so the VA takes care of them if they can.
