The headline is misleading. It says Bush "had good reason" but the quote in the story is "must have had good reason."
POS Rangel's real words are highly speculative BS. The headline implies Rangel was making a specific allegation.

I thought "Congressional Democrat" was synonymous with "lunatic fringe."
MAKE UP YOUR FRIGGIN' MINDS ALREADY, LEXICOGRAPHERS!
Damn, I hate those guys.

Anyone else think Charlie "bring back the draft" Rangel is still using drugs?

Rangel also said our troops are targeting women and children in Iraq. He is a nutcase.
To: dts32041
With his comments on Saturday, Rangel becomes the first congressional Democrat to publicly invoke the drug allegations against Bush, which had been largely confined to the lunatic fringe.
With Rangel's invocation they are still confined to the lunatic fringe, which is named Rangel!

Am I the only one to remember that drug tests in the military didn't start until '80-'82?

I don't have any hard and fast evidence to ground this allegation, but I'm going to throw it out there anyway:
My pet gerbil has been missing for three weeks...
AND CHOLLIE RANGEL HAS LOOKED PRETTY DAMN HAPPY SINCE THE MIDDLE OF NOVEMBER!
That's all I'm saying, folks.

Actually they started in 1971 if you were returning from SEA

Didn't know that. They didn't test us coming back from WESTPAC in '79. Mr. Bush wasn't returning from SEA (Southeast Asia?) though.

Hooray for Charlie Rangel! If the Democrats want to consign themselves to the lunatic fringe of our political life let 'em keeping pushing. They tried the National Guard memos forgery and it blew up in their faces. Nothing like the gift that keeps on giving. They just can't move on.
