Well I might as well out myself now, no I'm not gay but there are members of my family who are.I do not consider them dangerous perverts,If they have an agenda I haven't heard of it.Two of them are devout Catholics who attend mass more in a week than I have in a month of Sundays.They don't condemn me for my indulgences in beer and cigarettes and I don't get into deep theological discussions about their sex life.Being that one of them is an X nun I'm a little out gunned scripturally so sin is sin and we'll just leave it at that.There are bigger fish to fry.

Your relatives are not devout Catholics. They are pretending to be. Take the Bible teachings about lesbianism out of it, the pope said no Homosexual Catholics. I don't remember him talking about beer and cigarettes the same way.
I have a pretend Catholic sister myself. I avoid her. Please do not call them Devout anything Christian while they continue to sin.
Jesus said, "Go forth and sin no more." He truly didn't love the sinner, He loved the repentant. Going to church does not make a Catholic, living the life does.

Well, the average gay person is not "dangerous," nor do they have any agenda other than wanting to live their lives as they choose. But the ones who are trying to reform our society to their tastes do have an agenda and are dangerous.
It's sort of like the difference between your average Vietnam draft dodger and Bill Clinton...
