Responding to new allegations of drug use by sprint star Marion Jones, the world governing body of track and field (IAAF) will consider today whether to conduct a formal investigation of Jones, an IAAF official said yesterday.

IAAF General Secretary Istvan Gyulai said the IAAF had obtained transcripts of last night's ABC News "20/20" interview in which Victor Conte -- the founder of the Bay Area Laboratory Co-Operative (BALCO) who is under indictment on federal steroid charges -- claimed to have given steroids and other drugs to Jones before the 2000 Olympics.

World Anti-Doping Agency Chairman Dick Pound said he was supportive of the IAAF position and expected International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge to take a similar stance.

I sincerely do not wish to believe that Marion Jones would have done that. She recently had a baby? Take a look at it? Is it normal? Or does it have 3 legs?

Details on the conspiracy please: names, links, verifiable facts. Oh, it must be those pesky Bildebergers, yes? Queen Elizabeth and the Pope, as Lyndon LaRouche would have it?

Incidentally, in the past thread you point us to above you're corrected three times in the first 10 posts!

When you see these incredibly ripped bodies, even on women runners, it is obvious that something is going on. What is always a tip-off for me is when these athletes have these Incredible Hulk-like trapezius muscles. Why would most athletes spend the great amount of time and effort required to build these muscles through regular weightlifting? There is no reason for most athletes. The “traps” are just a byproduct of the juice.

Yeah, Wariner's a freak. There's no doubt about it. He's probably got another eight or nine years before his body peaks to get faster too. Scary talent.
