If they were inert in Paris, how and why did that plane leave Paris and
why was it allowed to land at LAX? Who gets to investigate each bomb to be sure that the bombs are in fact inert?

Well, if they thought they were real, you would have had F16s flying with the plane from Canada to where they diverted it to, in which case, I would have had even more emails filling my inbox. (In God We Trust, All Others We Monitor)
