As far as the original article, nuking everything Islamic is lame-brained. However, nuking Mecca and Medina would make sense to me.
The nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were not "vengeful" actions, but sound strategic decisions that ended up saving countless American AND Japanese lives.
