I pray for W all the time. I'm so scared some idiot will....I won't finish the thought.

I've learned more about Reagan since his death. I was a dim back then, so I didn't try to learn anything about him. The things I have read, he was a great man.

But Bush...Bush has my heart. He's my first Republican President. And I think I made a wise decision when I chose a party that had such a man like him..

You should have seen this forum back in 2000 when Texas Freepers were trying to convince others here that Dubya was the real deal. There was a lot of skepticism.

He went to Washington with the mission to reform education, lower taxes, and reform Social Security. Little did he, or anyone else, know that he was fated to have foreign policy become the primary focus and challenge of his administration.

But for 9/11, there probably would never have been the formulation of the Bush Doctrine, a foreign policy declaration that history will eventually place on a par with the Monroe Doctrine.

Bush was thrust into greatness, but he accepted that challenge. We haven't even begun the second term yet, but I think he will rank among the giants in our long list of Presidents.
