How Cheap Can Bras Get?

NEW YORK - U.S. clothing sellers are suing the U.S. government to force the government to stop imposing limits on Chinese textile imports. The limits, or quotas, have been in place for decades, but were scheduled to be eliminated at the end of this year. If they win, the clothing sellers say the clothes Americans buy--which are already cheap--will be cheaper still.

The clothing sellers say the government, including the Departments of Commerce, Labor, State and Treasury and the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative are "wrongly" considering the imposition of fresh safeguards against Chinese goods. The case will be heard by the U.S. Court of International Trade in New York.

The clothing sellers are represented by the U.S. Association of Importers of Textiles and Apparel, a trade association. The USA-ITA charges that the five agencies comprising the Committee for the Implementation of Textile Agreements are accepting requests from "anonymous" petitioners based "solely on anecdotal bits and pieces of information" in violation of importers' due process rights. CITA is the intra-agency body responsible for implementing U.S. textiles trade policy.

True, I can't wait for the Possum Lodge Catalog preview. It's going to put Victoria's Secret to shame. Maybe Old Man Sedgwick can design a fishing lure bra rather than a diamond one.

I think they are much too expensive, Gals should just stop wearing them.

That's what I'm told. About 10 years ago I bought my wife 3 bras and 3 pairs of panties for Christmas...now she expects them every year and that's the only underwear she'll wear! She always kind of disapproved of VS until she started wearing their bras.

I obviously don't speak for "all of us" but the evening hours do get a bit untoward. If not here, in other avenues of ... uh ... thought?

How cheap can bras get? Hopefully very cheap, and made out of flimsy materials that easily fall apart...

Bras are interesting subject, but getting back to the article it appears these "clothing sellers" are at odds with the interests of US clothing manufacturers (assuming there are any left).

No Darling, you are not going to get me involved in this, well at least not publicly. I've seen a husband get mean when other men discuss the physical attributes of his wife.

Now, "great personality, always smiling, full of laughter" are fine to say.

If you think Ohmar is charging too much, turn him in to the BBB.

SNOWFALL DISCOUNT
I just called the local Ohmar. He's offering a deal on the "Lace Peek-a-Boo 2pc Bra and Crotchless Panty" $20.99.

He said in the winter they don't sell very fast, even to the college girls!

Now's the time to stock up!

Well, deary do. In my grandmother's time, Frederick's catalogs would come in the mail like Victoria's Secret does now. However, they did not have the technological bent they have in this day and time.

The catalog depicited hand-drawn depictions of women so distant from biological possibility that they pretty damned much put the original Barbie Doll to shame. HUGE bulging breasts, snap-in-a-moderate-wind waist, colt-like legs times two on top of 5" stilleto heels.

Give me a buzz when this creature survives.
