You see, this is what freedom is all about. People get to get together and form their groups and advocate for change in legislatures and courts. The groups don't make any of the changes themselves, they just try and get the decision-makers to make the changes. It happens along all the parts of the political spectrum and it really is what makes freedom interesting.
I mean, really, what fun would life be if everyone advocated for the same thing on every issue all the time?

When the courts start becoming more involved in "our freedom" by creating new laws, we then are no longer free. And the ACLU is at the forefront of stealing the freedom to rule ourselves via the courts.
