The GOP is a big family. We're not as monolithic as the left makes us out to be.

If you're a Democratic politician that doesn't toe the party line, you get the Zell Miller treatment. Meanwhile, the VP openly disagrees with the President on gay marriage.

Also, have you heard or read recently about how suits brought against organizations under the title "civil rights" have their legal expenses paid for by the taxpayer?

No wonder the ALCU, NOW, and the NAACP are always filing suits - it's how they make their money, whether or not they win in court.

They use your money to try to have the courts overturn things you may believe in or support.

It's never been just "live and let live" with these people. It's always about the money. That goes for the pro-immigration crowd as well.

I'm not sure this isn't all well thought out. Maybe Bush doesn't care if his proposal loses. He'll still get credit from Hispanics for trying it. Helps the party in the long run.
