I was born on Guru Nanak's GURPURAB(birthday) in the year 1979. MY family, all of the devout SIKHS, all went to local CATHOLIC schook and had very good relations with the local CATHOLIC church. The CATHOLIC preists of our local church at that time gave me the name NANAK.

I love that story!!!

There was a Sikh family that ran a 7-11 near me. (Cambridge Massachusetts) They were so nice that they allowed some of the more civilized street people (bums) hang out in their store in the late hours of 2AM-6AM.

One night at 3AM I wandered in there as the grandfather Sikh was imparting some timeless wisdom to one of the street people. "What you cannot cure you must endure". He sure looked like a wise guru with his turban and his sage advice.
