get thee to a dictionary, hence.

The 't' in 'often' is indicated in the pronunciation key, along with the silent 't'. But sometimes people quote dictionaries in a vain attempt to sound more intelligent

Yeah, why not use irregardless in conversation,too? ALSO, in the dictionary. I am sure that will ame you come off as a rocket scientist.
