FYI, Tonk, from the Live Web Cam in Fairbanks, Alaska, here is how it is at 12:49 p.m. their time... 5 degrees and light snow, and losing 6+ minutes of light daily...

First, the normal daytime view from the Web Cam on the Chena (CHEE-na) River:

And at 12:49 on the date/time stamp (and *refreshing* periodically will bring it to a more current time there):
