(CBN News) - A Philadelphia radio reporter has resigned after she was called on the carpet for a phone message she left for a conservative group.
Rachel Buchman worked for National Public Radio affiliate, WHYY-FM. She left this message for the conservative Web site laptop-lobbyist.com: "Hi, my name is Rachel. I wanted to tell you that you're evil horrible people. You're awful people. You represent horrible ideas. God hates you and He wants to kill your children. You should all burn in hell. Bye."
Chris Carmouche is the executive director of laptop-lobbyist.com. He says he is not sure why Buchman left the message.
But he says that this is not the first time that the organization has received hate messages from journalists.
NPR, huh? Why am I not surprised?
Rachel, Rachel, Rachel...
Where is the diversity and tolerance of ideas????
Typical hypocrite.
Tax payin dollars at work
Oh please, she was just making herself available for the NBC Nightly News Anchor Job....
Sheesh, some people just submit resumes in different fashions...
Good Luck with NBC.
Regards,
Joe
Send her to Florida to participate on that psychic group treating Kerry's supporters from PEST... It seems she's in deep depression and needed to be treated...
The original article has the wrong URL; it's laptoplobbyist.com, without the hyphen.... but if divine wrath is merited for anything, it's for whatever on earth they've put on their web site that drives CPU utilization through the roof when you visit the site. Time to fire up lynx...
I heard it, and couldn't stop from laughing... It's just amazing to see what hatred could do...
Would be nice if the aptly named Terry Gross was to go with her.
Rachel, you need to let your true feelings out, learn not to hold back soo much
Ok, is she really that DUmb to leave her phone number as well...
The phone number is linked to someone else though.

The laptop lobbyist says this about the phone number:
" Please note: Ms. Buchman leaves a call back number in the voicemail which went to her office at WHYY. We have left the number intact to validate that she did, indeed, place this call from work. However, please do not call this number as Ms. Buchman is no longer employed by WHYY."

Money Quote: "Carmouche said: "It is unfortunate that Ms. Buchman felt the need to resign, and she is in our prayers."
dung.
D'OH!
This person is not only dumb; but sick.
Someone please remind me why after the GOP has controlled both houses of Congress for the better part of the last ten years that this program is allowed to go on?
Wow. She sounds like a total valley girl. It also sounds like she's reading off of a piece of paper. What an idiot.
