And this harmless activity will be illegal next February due to Blair's government's twisted priorities.

Hopefully such bans won't happen here.

People here use beagles to hunt rabbits but the beagles just drive the rabbits across the hunter's field of fire (hopefully). I never heard of just walking behind a pack.

Has anyone done this? It doesn't sound very fun but there's probably more to it (like ice fishing, maybe).

Inexorably. Maybe not in some of our lifetimes, but it will eventually happen. California banned the hunting of Mountain Lion back in the 80's. A Mountain Lion killed a jogger last year in California. The proliferation of deer in the East is due to anti-hunting laws. The carcasses of deer hit by cars and the injuries suffered by the unfortunate humans goes unnoticed by the anti-hunters. Hunting, once the necessity of the laborer, the sport of the gentleman and the enjoyment of both, is now viewed as a demonstration of human cruelty and not part of the cycle of life. Eventually, the only shooting sports that will be common shall be murder and war. In the end, we will wind up only hunting ourselves.
