I got married at 16, and I'm only 31. Didn't last but five years, but it beat even most odds. I wasn't pregnant either. Sadly, sometimes marraige is better than the option to remain at home, or foster care.

He was going into the Merchant Marine at the beginning of WWII. He was out in Texas and sent a letter back to Florida asking her to marry him. She travelled out to Texas and they got married. After he got out of the Merchant Marine, he moved back to Florida to be with her and 60 or so years later, are still married. :)
