A former American University chemist yesterday reported that he and a Virginia entrepreneur had created a safe, pollution-reducing and mileage-boosting replacement for harmful gasoline additives.
In a well-received paper presented at the annual American Chemical Society meeting that ended here yesterday, Paul Waters explained he had created a polymer additive for gasoline called polyisobutylene.
Hey fontaine....... How is it that the title of your article says Bush keeps it a secret and the article is dated 8/25/2000..... Isn't that before Bush was elected? Where's the link to the article?
ZOT!!!
My new Ford f250 diesel went almost 100 miles and the gas gage never moved.
The tow-truck sure burned alot though.
Unlike me, paragraphs are your friends.
Welcome to FreeRepublic. Now go away.
Googled on polyisobutylene. Came up with pages and pages of hits - most referred to this as a viable sealant. One that was a bit too technical for me seemed to advocate using it as a lubricant on snowmobiles. If this is marketed as a gas extender, I'd like to know the brand name. None of the hits came up with a gasoline additive.
I bet he saw this on the national enquirer front cover. Or on one of those conspiracy theory web sites.
My company has invented a magnetic generator that runs on nothing, but the electric companies paid me off and bought the patent, swore me to secrecy. It would cause a global collapse, billions would starve, oil industry would be out of business, etc.
Gee, back in the 60's the government was colluding with the car manufacturers and oil companies to keep secrets like how to get 100 MPG from water. Now, it's the President doing it. I wonder if Klinton knew about this (he must have because I'm sure AlGore had something to do with inventing it.)?
Cat Urine will save the world...
Send me some and I'll try it out.
Quick, provide a link before you get zotted again!
Oh Godfather, I dont know what to do. I dont know what to do.
You can take your Zot like a man!
Are you talking about Viscon? The fuel additive that's been around since 2000? That anybody can buy?
Viscon is hardly secret. It does reduce emissions (for a while) and people use it all the time as a performance enhancer.
Absolutely LOVED the reason Bobby's other thread was pulled: "Poster has gas".
