Whoever said that war is hell uttered an understatement more profound than even the classic British penchant for understatement. War is more than hell. It is a calamity of such magnitude, such horror that even the fallen angels of Satan himself must recoil in horror and unbelief. Man, the supreme being, created in the image of God, alone has the ability to inflict such horror on himself.

A long time ago a young, scared lt. jg. chased a boy around a hooch. The boy was wounded, unarmed, scared out of his wits and trying to run away. The lt. shot the boy in the back as the boy ran. You all know who that navy lt. was. ...
On Saturday morning, November 13, a young Marine, under the stress of combat fatigue and scared out of his wits, shot a wounded terrorist who may or may not have been armed. An anti-war journalist...

You and me both brother!
If I have learned only one thing in my life about God, (and I hope I've learned a few things), the one thing that has always impressed me is God's Infinite Timing.
Never early, never late, always "right on time", and His Timing will be no different in this case.
