Ann's Guidebook For Conversing With Liberals
Human Events Online ^ | Nov 16, 2004 | Lisa De Pasquale

Only liberals have the effrontery to write about books and authors they haven't read. The handful of major newspapers that have acknowledged HUMAN EVENTS contributor Ann Coulter and her four New York Times bestsellers think that being objective is simply mentioning a conservative. One tactic they employ, particularly with conservative women, is filing articles in the Style section. Apparently, it gives liberal journalists a license to be catty.

Above is a book review of Ann Coulter's latest. I thought it was pretty good. I did a quick search and did not find it on FR and thought that people may want to read the review, even if they have read the book. Also, since it mentions Ann Coulter, it gives others a chance to post pictures. I excerpted it because I do not know the rules concerning Human Events. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience this causes.

I'd like to read the book. I should ask for a copy for Christmas. I'm sure someone in my overwhelmingly GOP family would be happy to oblige.

I like listening to Ann. I think she's made her career by preaching to the already devout, but I'm always interested in hearing a good sermon.

Good pics. Right now, my server is down and I cannot get to the collection I have. I will post them as soon as I can.

WEll I bought and have read most of the book

My main criticism is at times her sentence structure makes it hard to read . AT times you have to got back and reread some sentences several times over

I loaned the book to my sister-in-law and she didn't finish it for that very reason

But her biting caustic descriptionn of the liberals is absolutely on the mark and funny as hell

I haven't read the book, but was in a bookstore the other day and picked up a copy to look it over. Someone had torn about five pages in the middle of the book, folded them over and put the book back. I went through the stack - ALL of the books had been damaged.

I called this to the attention of a sales clerk and she removed them all. Of course, this was a Border's Books and I live in San Francisco, so who did it - a customer or a salesperson?
