My wife and I lived in CO from 68 to 77. We never saw this kind of behavior. In the last 20 years, our friends have explained that there is an exodus from CA to CO. Maybe this explains this behavior in CO.

In the last 20 years, our friends have explained that there is an exodus from CA to CO. Maybe this explains this behavior in CO. Not just CO, but also OR (why we left)NV, ID, (why acquaintances moved out of Boise) MT, and NM, even parts of UT. Jackson, WY was lost long ago.
There is a term for it all over the Greater West: Californication.
