Charles Krauthammer say the only solution was to get the US out of the UN and the UN out of the US.

Did he say that outright, or imply it?

I thought he said "...back in the '60s, bumper stickers, etc., were thought to be wacko rightwing
....and maybe they weren't so crazy afterall..."

Yeah, he said that outright, then the panel reminisced about the good old days of the Birchers. Krauthammer prefaced his comment with the observation that the problems with the UN aren't the result of "one man..." and that we would be essentially fooling ourselves to think that the US can repair the UN. Therefore, we should seperate ourselves from the UN. It's great to hear a statement coming from a guy like Krauthammer.
