Well Brokaw really isn't going anywhere. I saw tonight that NBC announced that Brokaw had signed a 10 year contract to do specials & Etc.. So we really haven't seen the last of Brokaw anymore than of Rather, both are just shifting to another venue.
See these guys don't fade away they just move to another department in the News Division. They will be there until they drop while on the job.
Any hopes that Brokaw was going to Montana permanently were very premature.

Little will change at NBC news. Brian Williams is as liberally biased as Brokaw ever was - and a stuffed shirt, too. However, it is good to have Brokaw out of the anchor chair because of the "respect" automatically accorded that position by sheeple. The same can be said for Rather at CBS. The new guys will not be imbued with the gravitas of news reader/father figure for a while and viewers will become open for a time to further education about media bias.
