Actually, there is no need to go outside or be apart from the action to smoke. The hotel bar is on the same floor as the ballroom. It is a short, as in a matter of seconds, walk from there.

The bar has a very nice lounge. You'll love it and you won't feel put out. You'll see me in there from time to time.

Or, folks can step outside if they want. But no one will be forced to do that.

All kidding aside, thank you for the quick response. As I said, it's not a big deal to me personally, but it is a philosophical thing with me.
