Have you been around many patent attorneys? As a group, they are the SLOWEST and most reluctant adopters of new technology that I have ever seen. At the firm where I first started in the late 1980's, we had old-timers who HATED the dictaphones we had, MUCH prefering the old wax cylinder system they had back in the 1920's and 30's. The generation before them, they had to pry the quill pens from their cold, dead fingers. These fellows hated the fact that we had women as secretaries, and longed for the days when they would load up a steamer trunk full of cases to search and interview, hop a sleeping car on the Capitol Limited out of Union Station for two or three weeks of work in Washington. No, I am NOT making this up!
But, to answer your question, I just try to keep the "Luddite" part quiet... ;-)
