Laura went home to Thank the White House staff that was working so hard to get the White House ready for Christmas.
Can you imagine Hillary lowering herself to thank a staff person for anything?

Laura might also have gone home to get the WH living quarters ready for her new puppy. Miss Beazley will be arriving at the WH within the next couple of weeks. The puppy turns 6 weeks on Dec. 9th and could arrive anytime after she gets her first in the series of puppy shots.
