I've not gone to Macy's in a while. I'm so over mall shopping. I try to go to little clothing shops and support local small business. Not big corporations who care little for family values.

I hate malls myself .. nothing like walking in fear in the parking lot as some idiot almost runs you over just to get a parking space

Last December, flying home from an assignment from Sao Paolo, Brazil into Charlotte, NC; my wife insisted that we stop in Hickory (mall) to buy the children some gifts. Once inside the mall, I did a 180 degree spin, headed towards the exit doors and waived the car keys to my wife. Karen was stunned.

The filthy, unwashed, grungy gum-chewing rude 'mall-rats' are beyond belief.

Then again, I guess I'm just a snob who believes that spitting gum on sidewalks, hawking sneeze on people's car, cannot speak English and basically rude MF's put me off on that type of "shopping experience." I either go to a small store or make my purchases on the internet.
