Swiss TV has video of French Army helicopters firing without warning on an Ivory Coast demonstration, on November 6, 2004. The LGF reader who emailed this link included these remarks:

You learn that the 6 .11.2004 french army helicopters shooted WITHOUT “warnings shots” on the crowd made of hundreds people.

Those looked like cannon rounds bouncing off the street there. It they were rockets or missiles we'd see an explosion.

The French Military Base in question was engaged in its daily "White Flag and Collaboration Drill" to the accompaniment of "Lady of Spain" played on the base's loudspeakers by the Bastille Memorial Accordian Orchestra and Guillotine Chorus when a nearsighted lookout mistook the demonstrators for a flock of ducks. The French went on the offensive immediately, anticipating a gourmet meal of Canard a L'Orange, and, loading their weapons with birdshot, attacked the group.
M. Jacques Chirac expressed regret at the incident,and, while he could not assure that the it would not be repeated, invited the survivors over for a glass of Pineau Des Charentes at 10% off the menu price.
While I could not resist the opportunity to make fun of the Frogs, the overriding emotion I feel is disgust.

Gee, the French do the very things they accuse Israel of doing. Only difference is Israel is targeting terrorist soldiers in cars with smart bombs and the French are targeting the crowds machine guns in full auto.
