I must re-read this stuff.
I think Jeb must be notified. I wonder if his lawyers can work any of this new info into the US Supreme Court brief. Maybe the Bush family members would be willing to listen to FReepers, since it was a FReeper who broke Dan Rather's Memogate.
How can someone declare a law to be unconstitutional, when legally, he isn't even a judge?
As I've said before, I only wish I were a lawyer.
IMO, nothing embarrasses politicos as much as bad press.
P.S., I agree that mass petitions would not be effective in this instance.
Being a lawyer only helps if that lawyer becomes a judge and defeats these horrible judges one at a time or they finally GET BUSTED which is on my Christmas List.
I can tell you for a fact that free republic helped Jeb get re-elected and he did thank the hundreds of freepers who went the extra mile for him. We hope he's going to go the extra mile for Terri and all it takes to contact Jeb Bush is to email: jeb.bush@myflorida.com. (Terri in the subject line as per their specs).
I know the judges are jaded and think they are omnipotent. They have no shame.
I don't know any variety of vegetable that laughs and tries to talk, do you? Terri tries to talk. She's hangin' in there.
The truth must be said ten times more often than a lie to be believed.
She's one tough broad! I'd want her on my side any time.
Bumping your tagline :)
(5 minutes of prayer for Terri, every day at 11 am EDT, until she's safe. http://www.terrisfight.org)
Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber? (Veggie Tales)
LOL, I needed to laugh just now! TY!
I hoped my attempt at humor would add levity without being seen as derisive. I keep praying for some good news, but for some reason the evil men aren't being held accountable for their actions.
I do find the recent comments about qualification interesting. I wonder what would happen if Jeb Bush were to issue an executive order directing that because Judge Greer was not legally qualified for office his rulings were to be ignored. Not saying that would be a wise move, but I'm curious what would happen. Even if there isn't a 2/3 supermajority in the legislature to impeach Greer, I doubt that there would be a 2/3 supermajority to impeach Bush either.
BTW, I'm surprised that you didn't comment that tomatoes and cubumbers are really fruits. Though since the show does also have an asparagus whose name I don't remember, I think it fair to say that it does depict some talking and singing characters who are, in fact, vegetables.
I've never actually watched Veggie Tales myself, but have nieces and nephews who have sung me songs, and told me about them. I still don't get that whole "tomatoes are a fruit not a vegetable" thing. And "cubumbers" are even better than cucumbers!
I would love to see Jeb just remove Greer from the bench. I thought I read that he could do such a thing, but I'm probably mistaken. My memory isn't working as well tonight as I'd like for it to. Busy, busy day!
The distinction between "fruits" and "vegetables" has to do not with the plants itself, but rather with the portion of the plant that is eaten. The fruit of a plant is the portion that contains the seeds. For some plants, such as cucumbers or tomatoes, that is the part that is commonly eaten. For other plants, such as celery or lettuce, one normally eats stalks or leaves. Not sure exactly how beans and grains fit into things.

I don't know that Jeb would have any authority to do that; the thing I wonder about is to what extent, push come to shove, Greer really has authority over him.
Hmmmm. Greer having authority over Jeb. Now that's food for thought. I'm not enjoying contemplating that one.
BTW, that was the best explanation for the fruits vs. vegetables idea that I've ever heard.
But there would probably be better luck in the state legislature with the aforementioned technique, you are right.
Department of State should be under the Executive Branch, no? Then he (or she) would not be part of the judiciary, and Jeb would be his (or her) boss. It sounds like Penton is the "Freedom of Information Officer." It may be an additional title, or just one of his (or her?) functions.
There are other people involved with the foul up, such as (perhaps) County Clerk's office or a "Board of Elections." A county Board of Elections would be under a state Board of Elections. Where are candidates papers originally filed? Board of Elections? Is the BOE under the Executive branch, or the Legislative?
I'm just throwing this stuff out, because if all roads lead to Jeb Bush, then he is the top man to focus upon concerning our communications. I may be wrong, but maybe we can save time and energy by presenting the evidence to Jeb Bush that Greer and Baird aren't judges, rather than going down the road towards impeachment (at least just yet).
I understand that there are those who want to undercut election elegibility and oaths laws as mere "legal technicalities," but the law is the law.
Any ideas out of this mish-mosh?
BTW, a good records search is based upon 2 basic things: 1. the existence of the records in question, and 2. the knowledge, ability, and the dedication of the staff member doing the search.
If you are convinced that the staff member didn't find everything, ask a second time for another search to be done by a staff member with a higher title. (Hot tip of the day!) That's how I obtained a Death Certificate in another state.
No and I have cared for a number of them. God Bless her and her fighting spirit!
That comment brings a smile to my lips. She most certainly is!
I just saw the phrase "Florida Elections Commission." Has to be under a governmental branch, like "Civil Service Commission."
Which governmental branch? Does Jeb appoint the Commissioners?
Cucumbers are fruit? Are you sure? I thought they were a vegetable, in the squash family.
