Maybe, buy my guess they're melons. My recollection from what I read a few years ago (may still be on the site) they mostly sold them at a premium price to sympathetic groups. Kind of a fund raising thing. I think the farm is a couple thousand acres left over from a "plan" in the 60s to buy millions of acres to support the black community. Time passed them by.

Wallace Ford Dodd hijacked the legalistic portion of the Koran (also found in the Old Testament) and added it to the Black Nationalist movement of Marcus Garvey. He passed it on to an ex-con named Elijah Poole while selling carpets door to door. Elijah took the name Mohammed and claimed he was the reincarnation of the ancient prophet. This whole sect is blasphemous to orthodox Islam.
Then there are the parts about the spaceship coming to Earth to take black people (the "pure" race) back to their place of origin, or the concept of white people being "devils".
Farrkhan conviniently took over after Malcom X was assassinated by followers of Elijah Mohammed, because he recanted his beliefs on non-blacks after taking a trip to the Middle East. Now he has the nerve to have a "memorial" to Malcom X on his website. It's sickening.
This ain't Islam, my friend.

More in common with nazis who believed they came from deep space on an ice moon. My grandfather taught me that the average german soldier was very often Christian but the SS guard on up grew further and further from Christianity with rank. He told me that the captive SS soldiers were considered very dangerous because of their debating skill and caused a lot of allied captors to question thier own cause.
