Ya know, we could burn Canadian flags but what would be the point?

It is too bad that there are no counter-demonstrators, but then, it is a work day.

I do not believe in acknowledging the sicko protestors by turning around and burning a Canadian flag. We should respect their country, as probably most Canadians actually respect ours, and not let the worst people set the course of events.

After 9-11 my wife drove from Halifax to Maine, and almost every house along the way had a US plag displayed, to show solidarity. She was in tears by the time she reached the US, to think that people in small, rural homes in New Brunswick had managed to find American flags for the occasion.

According to Rush today, 39 protestors and 42 newsmedia people turned out at one event and no protestors turned out at another planned protest rally.

After just watching Brit Hume, I noticed the roads from the airport to Ottawa were lined with people cheering and waving American flags as Mr. Bush passed by. He even remarked that people were waving at him - with all five fingers.

I think the so called hatred of Mr. Bush and America by Canadians is overblown while their left wing idiots are approximately the same as our own American left wing idiots similar to Juan Williams - America's Black Bozo the Clown.
