<yawn AP can focus only on bad news. As far as they are concerned, Iraq is Vietnam Redux.
"Kill an American a day, and they'll break", so thought the Jihadis.
They did indeed break the will of the media. But not the tan suits.
I think the United States armed forces have done an exemplary job in Iraq and Afghanistan. And to keep the casualties as low as they have been over the past two years speaks volumes of the leadership and competence of all involved.
We all hate to see any man or woman die or wounded in combat; but if you all recall, the media and naysayers had predicted tens of thousands of deaths before the war started. I remember in Viet Nam in 1969 when we lost four or five hundred a week.

Thanks. I'm someone will be doing a poll in the near future similar to a few weeks before the November election. Need to differentiate between the combat deaths and the non-combat deaths because the polls certainly won't. However, all of our fallen heroes need to be remembered.
I find this suspect. I went over the list on Memorial Day and found that over 1/3 (which would have been over 300 at that time) died outside of combat or hostile action. Car accidents, electricutions, drownings, heart attacks, etc with many occurring in Kuwait and even Germany.
The left was quick to run up their tally in a race to get 1,000 "dead" before 9-11-2004.
The government does not release a death tally for the war in Iraq. There are daily reports of who died around the world.
More Bullzogby from AP. Traitorous scum providing aid and comfort to the enemy while souring morale at home.
This is a total distortion of the war and I have reprinted my analysis of the war dead from earlier in the year.
The left is still exagerating the number of deaths.
And their comrades in the media are lapping it up.
During that same period of time how many deaths were the result of:
1. aids
2. illegal drugs
3. alcohol
4. Illegal alien drivers killing people while driving.
5. Gang shootings
